How do you remove Instrumental gauge?

Default How do you remove Instrumental gauge?

I want to change the lights behind the instrumental gauge but i dont know how to take it out? Anyone know any good webpage that show how to take it out?

gauge cluster lights, or climate control lights?

O im sorry about i forgot about the info hehehe.....
1999 accord ex. I want to change the light color from the gauge cluster lights (the place infront of the steering wheel.)

there are 2 screws on the top... near the plastic
remove those, and bull the black trim piece out... it is held on by clips.
then there are 4 screws that hold the cluster in place.
remove those, and the cluster chould be able to come out.

If you disconnect the cluster harness, DO not start the car without plugging it back in.

if you do a search... you should find a thread with pictures.

Is it the same for 2000 Honda Accord LX automatic? Thanks. Are those gauge face good? What's a good brand and where to buy?

imo, gauge faces look like crap... but its your car... do whatever you want. ebay will probably be the cheapest.

OK, I'm disregarding the gauge face crap, is it possible to change my gauge cluster? I like the ones in the new accords, they're bright and easy to read, will those be compatible with my accord? I mean the whole gauge cluster? Thanks guys.

Don't put indiglo gauges on. Waste of money. I had them for 2 years and they peeled up and I got sick of them after like a month. But it's your car...I ended up throwing the whole pod out and buying the 01-02 Coupe V6 gauges with the red needles and graphite faces. Much nicer.
