Default Is this normal??

OK I have a 96 Honda Accord with KYB AGX and H&R SPort Springs and everytime I go over a bump I hear a clunking noise in the rear.

I also notice that if I do a hard left, I hear a rattleing sound in the rear left. and vice versa.

NOTE: The person that installed my suspension torqued everything while the car was in the air, he did not tighten anything when the car was on the ground.

Is the rattleing sound normal??? (it sound like the spring is rattleing)

Is it maybe because they did not tighten the nut on the upper perch when the car was on the ground.

I've had problems like that in the past. Normally what you should do it is check the installs on the rear to make sure that there is a rubber piece under the top hat between the springs and the hat. Usually when going over bumps and your car goes into the air about 1/2"-1" it tends to happen if the rubber isnt there or of it's not aligned properly. Cause it's metal hiting metal..

well if he didnt tighten the bolts when the car was settled I would go ahead and re-torque them.
Matter of fact take it back to them and adjust.

I agree, when I installed my suspension, which is roughly the same setup as he's talking about (I used cheap-o coilovers from ebay [mistake]), but I neglected to go back and re-torque everything after I dropped the car off the lifts. The sound was similar to what is being described here.
