Default ticking sound coming from flywheel area. please help!!!!

I got a 92 honda accord ex auto with 95K on it. I just took it into the shop to have my timing belt, water pump, tune up, fuel filter, and oil pan gasket changed. All was fine when i brought it in but when i got it back there was a ticking sound coming from the area around my flywheel. I hear it when the car is in neutral or in gear and it get worse as i rev the engine. Of course i am pissed because i never had this problem before i took it in to get this work done. I took it back so the shop can see what is wrong and they are trying to tell me that my flywheel and engine are misaligned. I left my car there and told them that this problem arose only after the work was done and i want to speak to a manager.

To make a long story short I need the have some suggestions on what the problem might be? I fell like i am getting B.S.ed.

May need to have them look at the timing belt again. Teeth could be skipping on the belt. That happened to me once with the shop I had do mine the first time.

Just a thought.

To get the crank pulley bolt off, sometimes they jam a screwdriver into the flywheel wheel to keep the engine from turning. They may have screwed this up. They should've had the proper tool that attaches to the crank pulley to keep it from moving.

Could be the belts are rubbing on the plastic cover.

Most timing ticking problems can be traced to the automatic tensioner. They could have improperly adjusted it or screwed it up.
