engine mount in 99 v6 accord.
seems i have an engine mount gone in my car,the engine is jumping bout 4 inches,it is causing my auto to thump....is it a hard job to change a mount...is this a common prob..
There are a couple of engine mounts on the car. Depending on which one failed, the job gets a bit more difficult.
- The upper mounts aren't terrible to replace, but if the engine is sagging, you'll have to somehow lift it so you can swap parts.
- The lower mounts are much worse because of the location. These often fail due to leaked oil.
- The shock absorbing mount is the worst. It bears the weight of the J30.
did this just happen or did it progressively get worse?

it has thumped for a while but i always figured it was the box, wasnt till the other day i finally figured it out.i think it is the top mount on the drivers side...my concern is are the new ones gonna have to be pressed in?
