Valve cover gasket
okay what i have to do is replace my valve cover gasket is this difficult?
could anyone link me to a help page or just give me some pointers and do i need to get the gasket with or without gromits

umm, all you have to do is disconnect the sparkplug wires, PCV valve, the tube that goes to the intake i think and four of the mounting bolts.
if the cover doesnt come off at first, lightly tap with a rubber hammer or use something soft in between the cover and hard object
make sure you properly torque down those 4 montung nuts

all you do is remove the 5 valve cover bolts and it will come right off.. the gasket fits into place on the bottom of the vc. dont torque the bolts too much as they will snap off in the head. youll be fine without the exact amount of torque, just do it enough so the over hugs the head snugly.

Torque specs for valve cover gaskets are usually torqued to about 7-10 ft/lbs. Be sure to use Hondabond or some equivalent silicon on the necessary areas.
