Default Help to remove front brake piston Accord 01

1) While changing the brake pads of my car, I notice the right side bushing (boot) of the piston is ripped and damage. I bought a new replacement but I have no idea how to remove the piston to change the boot? I guess I have to bleed the brake and remove the pressure applied to the piston then remove it but I want to get you guys opinion before I am doing it.

2) I normally do not bleed the brake before changing brake pads but I am not sure it's the correct procedure. I don't have any problem so far but it could just mean I am damn lucky. What's the correct procedure to change brake pads in ABS system - to bleed or not to bleed?

TIA

Lanny

this wont answer your question, but you can always just disconnect the line going to the caliper and mess around the caliper w/o having to worry about pressure w/ the piston.

but yea, you'll still need to bleed the brakes after fixing the piston gasket/bushing thingie.
