ummm, my last plugs were NGK...not junk according to you..These plugs are not just for european cars..WTF???? Thats whey they make them for hondas..Do u think I just took 4 plugs out a v12 benz and plopped them in my accord??? Remember those old splifire plugs? These are similar to those but have 4 spark points instead of 1 or 2 and are platinum so they last longer..These are definatly top of the line plugs...Believe me, I am not a noob..I am ASE certified...

hhm... well, let's just do a cost-benefit analysis... u pay 3 times more for platinum plugs(esp bosch which has had horror stories when installed in hondas) and u pretty much get no performance improvement, and maybe a lil increase in fuel economyh: just not worth it to me... i just change out the NGK copper plugs regularly and it'll still perform as well as the more expensive platinums... just my 2 cents

Guys what's the torque value on the spark plug for 2000 Honda Accord LX sedan? And is the spark plug gap 1.0-1.1? Thanks much.

Use NGK.

Bosch Platniums actually do NOT run well in the Accords, at least in mine they did not. Actually made my car run poorly.

Thank you. Never, ever, ever run German plugs in a Japanese car. Why? I don't know. But they don't work well.

Use only NGK or Denso. I prefer NGK v-power coppers.

The plugs should come gapped from the manufacturer, but autozone or wherever will be able to tell you the correct gap and torque specs.

Bosch plugs work like shit simply because the Honda ignition system is too powerful for them.

When you replace your plugs, make sure the temperature rating is also correct.
