Default h22 in accord tranny question

i have a h22 in 90 accord. clutch went bad. my friend was gonna replace the clitch and said that the bell housing unit was cracked. what does this mean and what can be done?

got pics? More than likely it means nothing. Replace your clutch and go on about your business. One of my friends with a celica gts had a cracked housing dogging the crap out of it for 3 years and nothing ever happend to his tranny. He finially went through some deep water and hydrolocked the engine(cold air intake) thats the only reason hes not driving it now. Which tranny do you have? Worst comes to worst you can always go to the junk yard and get a used accord tranny and put that in there. Wont be much for take off but you will have hella top end.
