Default stock alarm confirmation

does anyone know what might the problem be when you lock the doors twice with stock remote, there's no beep sound come up, it usually does for confirming the alarm is armed, but it doesn't do that anymore?
it's a 99 accord v6 sedan btw.

thanks!

Check and make sure the hood is closed securely. After locking, does the red light on the driver's door flash? If it flashes then the system is armed. Once and awhile my dad will borrow my car and sometimes when he brings it back, the alarm won't arm and it's because sometime during the day he's confused the hood latch lever with the trunk latch and never closes the hood because he doesn't realize that he even opened it.

you might have the beep disabled not sure how to enable it but usally it by pressing 2 buttons on the remote until it blinks 2 times

check and make sure all 4 door locks are locking. I had one door lock actuator broke on me and that was the reason why it would not beep on the second try.

As previously make sure everything is closed. Hood, doors and trunk.
