Its gonna be a 02 Accord! I have always liked chrome rims. My sister has a 02 Accord 4 Door with 18" chrome rims and it looks nice. I am thinking about the Panther EMR415

man, are u sure you want the chrome?
for suspension parts, i'd say make it a kit, since you have comptech strut bars and sways, why not just get the comptech springs, right?

cheers!

Hum....I'm back after a bit of personal things. I have over 2000 miles on my basic little setup, Tein H-spec springs (just a 1" drop); kyb GR-2 sticks, complete rebuild of OEM suspension (all bushings, pillow mounts, etc) with factory new parts. I have the MSR 17" rims, brushed alum with gunmetal grey, lightweight. Nightsauto cross drilled rotors, SS brake lines, AEM pads, Falken tires.

I can, and have driven over 300 miles at a time at highway speed, through traffic, zipping around corners. No bottoming out, tight handling, no bouncing. Comfort, performance, cheap price.

I think I might go with Tokico HPs next time, the GR-2s sometimes make a slight air sound when fully compressed, but can't feel or see anything yet. My Falkans break on agressive cornering slightly and squeel like a pig when I hammer it diving into a turn (taking a 30 at 70). I had all four wheels aligned and balanced but I could have done a high speed balance, maybe next time.

Brake system has about 4000 miles on it and it is one of the best investments I have made. In combination with my suspension upgrade the car really handles when breaking, no fade, quick stopping, very little skid if any at all. It is comparable to my ex wife's 2004 BMW 540i as far as handling goes for a FRACTION of the cost. I also have a neuspeed strut tower brace.

I have never been a fan of chrome because of the weight and process used to plate the rims. They can, and do chip and crack. Brushed alum is a nicer alternative but no bling. If you want bling, go chrome but expect to lose performance. In my opinion I would not even bother to upgrade the stock suspension if you go chrome since the mods you mention are wasted on the rims. Get a tokico HP kit, spend the rest of your saving from that switch on a serious set of chrome rims and quality tires. It's cheaper and more in line with what you will get out of the upgrade.
