I just came across an apexi n1 universal muffler for sale cheap!!!
I am just wondering if any one has this muffler or if any body is familiar with it? how does it sound ? is it worth picking up?
I drive a 5th gen lx with a CAI only

it is LOUD

 

i've got some friends with one... they sound like complete doodoo on just a custom pipe, so make sure you have a resonator put in if you're going that route.

if you're just throwing it on your stock exhaust piping then it should sound fine.

don't expect any hp gains in either case tho, the 20hp they tell you you'll gain is about as real as the tooth fairy (sorry to burst anyone's bubble about the tooth fairy).

since you have 5th G accord, i rather go with oval shape exhaust than circle shape. N1 looks better on civic or integra IMO...

i bought a ws today . i will let you guys know how i makeout with it next week . i wanted the n1 but after doing much research i found that it is mainly for higher hp cars which certaintly isn't my automatic lx with cai . so to avoid a farty sound i got the ws .

 

the n1 isn't my first choice but like i said i can get it for less than half of the ws! this is why i am looking at it for a temporary muffler.

 

N1 is sweet... and its not SUPER LOUD...but it still is loud h:
