So i've never seen a diy for the clock light on a 2000 accord so I figured out myself, turned out pretty easy there's a colored piece of plastic behind the screen so i took it out and put in red plastic from a grocery type bag and it worked out great, I originaly wanted blue but couln't find anything so it's red for now, if anyone wants a step by step let me know

 

i want a DIY...i also need a new bulb cuz it went out...right? or was it something else that made the light go out?

 

click on the link below on my sig about the Blue gauges. Email the guy where I bought the film from and use it cause its heat resistant and you can get any color.

Edit: a DIY would be perfect so that others can do that too.

 

you remove the clock
unscrew the bulb
put a piece of colored tape over it
the end.

 

yeah it's a bulb and it does burn out*, I'll do up a diy with pictures soon

 

the color doesn't come from the bulb, it's a colored strip that lines the back of the display

I would like to see a DIY on the removal of the clock and replacement of the clock light. The light has burned out in my wife's 2000 Accord EX. She wants it replaced.
