Default Honda Exhaust!

Hello, I am purchasing my wife a 2001 Honda Accord V6, this will be our first honda and I was wondering, what will be the best sights to look for performance parts for the vehicle? Which Intake would you recommend, and also I want to do Headers and a Dual exhaust setup on the vehicle!

the accord v6 in those years already has a dual muffler setup, its not a true dual system though. if you want it to be true dual you would need to have it custom made buy a shop.
id recommend an AEM intake of any sort(cold air or short ram). dc sports should make headers for the accord v6 and so might comptech.

seeing that youre from cali.. your best "carb legal" options would be

Intake - AEM SRI or V2

Headers - I beleve the Comptech headers are carb legal, but they do cost ALOT

exhaust... not too sure on this one, but id prefer not to get Catback systems, since they rob you of low end torque.. which the V6s do not have much of.

Thanks for the help! I have always like the dual exhaust out the rear so I dont wanna switch to a single! What can I do to help with the low end torque without adding a turbo or s/c. and I dont wanna spray ether cause my wife doesnt really need that

the AV6 is perfect for a complete Comptech setup.

Icebox intake + axel back exhaust =

I love every moment of my purchase.
