My '02 Accord LX 4 speed automatic transmission (68K) slips between 1st and 2nd gear and 2nd/3rd gear. I had the fluid changed at the local transmission specialist, but it hasn't solved the problem.

Any suggestions?

did your CEL come on?
Im having a problem with my 02 accord ex 4cyl. My lockup control solenoid is actin up.

shifting from 1st to 2nd is kinda rough. the rest of the gears are fine.
my CEL came on and it ref: codes 0700 & 0740.
So next week imma replace the solenoid. The car is fine though.

 

Your car might be under warranty, take it to the Honda dealership and have it checked out.

 

as per honda care " 02 accord is excluded from the extended transmission warranty.
only 98-01 have that extended to 100k
