Default Removing Momo steering wheel **Please Help**

K so the wrecked accord is at my g/f's parents house..

Its got a nice momo wheel that i am going to put into my ranger..

I need to know what size wrenches or w/e to use on the bolts to remove the steering wheel because her parents are on vacation and i dont know where her dads tools are..

and its a pain in the arse to drive back and forth, so i was wondering if someone could tell me what tools i need to take the steering wheel out?

Thanks for any fast help!

You need an allen wrench to remove the horn button and the wheel. To remove the hub from the steering column, I believe its a 17mm nut...but don't quote me. The hub may be on there very tight. What I did to take the hub off was to take out the bolt, reattached the steering wheel with the allen screws, and wiggle the steering wheel and hub until it came loose. Good luck.

Its so easy. How many screws are in the center piece? Unscrew it all. Or if theres an emblem piece in the middle, pry it off with a flathead to get to the screws. If its a momo they're probably hex screws. ( I have a montecarlo momo steering wheel). Anyways, Unplug the wires from the horn. Now your wheel is off.

Now for the hub.... there is a nut dead straight in the middle of the hub. Use a good proper tool to unbolt it. (socket wrench). Remove the hub slowly and your done!

To put it back on a Ford ranger.......not my department. .

Should be a snap to put it on the Ranger..as long as the Grant Adapter does work for the MOMO wich i have been told by a few people it will..guy at the parts store said bring the wheel here when you pick up the adapter to make sure itll work..

oh and i have a steering wheel puller, but hopefully i wont have to use that on this honda..nothin was done right on it, so it shouldnt be hard to take off..LOL

I didn't know you had a "grant hub". and that it fits a Momo steering wheel. Just get the proper part for the steering wheel. Get the momo adapter It'll save you some dissappointments. But if you can fit the Grant adapter, then thats great!
