Default wheel offset on my accord?

Hey guys, as many of you know Im selling some 16" Rota C10 with pattern 4x100 with offset of 38. My question is that Im planning on buyin some 16" Rota C8 for my accord with pattern 4x114 of course and was wondering if the new tires on the C10 will fit my C8 or does the offset prevents it...

suggestions are appreciated

i believe it is the rim width that affects the size tire not offset unless of course you are going to rub the fender...

in that case, you need to tell us what drop you are on...

Offset has nothing to do with this...the diameter and width do though...

If they are both 16", then they will likely work on the new wheels. Even if the width is slightly different, you can use one size tire on a few different width wheels within reason.

If they are both 16", and a similiar width, they'll work. Considering they are both Rota wheels, they'll likely be the same width for a given diameter.

the tire size is 205-45R16 which are on a C10 for Civic or integra, and I want to install them on a C8 rim for an Accord 4x114

I haven't bought the wheels yet, that's why, I'm asking, but I plan to do so in a matter of one month, hopefully I can use the same tires.

Okay, well according to Rota's website, both wheels in 16" are 7" wide, so your tires will work fine...but first make sure that the tires you already have are the tires you really want on your Accord...remember that civics have smaller diamter tires, so you might actually want to get a different size tire for your Accord...use a tire calculator to figure out what size tire you want. Search for "miata tire calculator" on a search engine and use that one.

It's good you are doing your research this time before buying.
