dood im really sorry to hear that. chances are it'll happen to me too unless everyone else who responded to the thread had the same yr car as us. by the way, who had your new header installed? did you do it yourself or did someone else do it?

man, i just re-read my post and sorry guys for sounding like a cry baby but im just really disappointed. i had my headers installed by a performance shop. then i took it to another performance shop that specializes in headers and exhausts to get that new flex pipe welded. they both said everything is fine and there is no leaks.

Hey, 04 Accord Coupe, you have a bad exhaust manifold gasket, a warped header, or your header was installed wrong. I have seen it happen to alot of my friends.

specifically to 7th gens or just cars in general? and if so, is this type of thing preventable?

hey i want to trouble shoot so can you help me by answering these questions. thank you. OK, which gasket are you talking about? there is no gasket on the engine block to the headers. but i think there is a gasket where the 4-2 part connects to the -1 (4-2-1 headers). so which one are you talkin about? second question, what do you mean by warped? i know what warped means but where exactly would they be warped? they're brand new and the sound was there as soon as they were installed. last question, i dont think they could of been installed wrong. its not that hard to install headers. its just remove the old one and replace with new ones. they came with 3 metal rings which act as gaskets. i just dont think its that hard to install headers. so my question is, how could they have been installed wrong?

Ok. well i just want to troubleshoot. im not denying that it might be one of the problems you said. please reply to me at your earliest convenience. thank you.
