Default A whole shwack of issues

well where do i begin, i own a 94 accord 2dr with the 16v engine, and i have noticed several things going/gone wrong in the past few months, ive owned this car for almost 2 years and it has 250,000 kms on it. i try to change the oil every 5000k, but that dosent always happen. im new to these forums, so if somebody could give me some tips or at least a reference so i can read up before i take this sucker in this week

firstly
i think my brakes are warped b/c
1. my steering wheel shakes at high speed,
and 2. while braking at high speed i get lots of vibration and shaking in the steering wheel. this is a great increase over the normal vibrations

secondly
i get that kind of clicking/bubbling sound from the engine, especially under load and especially in cold whether, ive read on here that that could mean some sort of head work, how much will that cost me? is it just a timing belt?, i havent changed that for 100,000kms.

Thirdly
my clutch makes messed up noises, i think that would mean its burnt out, but its funny because when i put it under load at less than 2k rpm i get this belch of a vibration, thats literally what it sounds like. i dont know if thats something else vibrating or if its the actual clutch but i do know its annoying, and makes my car sound like a tin can P.O.S. ,

and my cat buzzes when i accelerate, but im replacing that all soon enough so thats not a worry

thanks

1. if your wheel is shaking without braking, then you're looking at off balanced wheels.

2. if your wheel is shaking and you are braking, then you're looking at warped rotors.

I'm not sure how kms translates to miles, but timing belts need to be changed every 80,000 miles. Look into a new water pump, sparkplugs and wires.

this sounds like a loose heat shield along the exhaust path.

hmm, my heat shield seems to have one longer bolt that the rest which is not tightened, problem is its all rusted, ill wd-40 it tonite and see if there is any differemce,

i still think my clutch is messed cause it makes other grinding noises, and i was able to put it in 3rd at a stop light, engage and rev freely untill it caught on, that only happened once, but it was nasty,

my wheels shudder on more than one set of rims/tires so its not the tires.

also, my FR wheel lugs continuously loosen, no matter how much i torque them, what might that be?

unbalanced wheel, bruised/blistered tires, bad alignment?

Check this out... might help diagnose
