Default 94 accord A/C compressor

I searched and didnt come up with any answer.

I have a 94 EX with a bad a/c compressor. It has the Hadsys brand compressor... now, can I switch to a different brand? Like will a Nippondenso work? Or what about one from a different year, like a 97? Ive looked at pictures of different compressors and compared them to mine, the hose connections look the same to me, but its hard to tell in pictures. I'd rather know before I buy one and find out its not going to work. Im having trouble finding the Hadsys compressors, thats why im asking.

Thanks

Default A/C compressor swap

I believe you can swap them, but you will probably need to first check and make sure your head doesnt pop open and a prize come out

yeah it should. if you are only getting the compressor and it doesn't fit, then get the bracket off of that same car.
