Yeah, I know, not another transmission thread, but this is something weird I want to find out about. I have a 2000 V6 and after I shift into reverse and give it a little gas, what seems like the tranny makes this loud clunk that's also felt through the rest of the car and it only does that when I am moving in reverse. It also seems to do it more when the tranny is cold, but it'll pretty much do that same thing all the time when I shift into reverse. Anyone else had this happen to them and is it really the transmission? Please let me know even though I'm going to take it in to the dealer anyway. Thanks!
