I need to change the muffler and midmuffler on my 94 accord sedan lx.

However, i don't have any tools - what are the minimum tools necessary to do this job?

A good set of jack stands. Don't let the car fall on you, blood is kinda corrosive.

Normal wrenches. The sections of exhaust are bolted together. You don't say where you live, but if they use salt on the roads, get some BBBlaster or Liquid Wrench or something to loosen up the rust. Or you might need a sawzall to get it apart. Or maybe some dynamite.

 

PB blaster, a torch, and an impact wrench.

 

jackstand, wd40, ratchet and sockets, screw driver to wiggle them bastard hangers and some muscle.

 

All you need is a phone book.
Look under "M" in the yellow pages.

 

if in the colder climates, an act of God! if one parts bad, you messing around is gonna knock the whole sys out in a month. but if you want to replace everything via the stock sections, PB plaster, and a big ass breaker bar. or a cutting tourch in my case.
