Default Remote not unlocking

Hey,

The other day i got out of my car and locked it with the remote, then came back to it a few minutes later and it wouldnt unlock with the remote. I've recently changed the battery in the remote and the light on the remote is still bright when pressed......the central locking still works perfectly from both doors and boot and the alarm still comes on. I've had a look in the manual to see if theres a way to reset it or something but no go. There doesnt seem to be a fuse for the remote system and i dont have a clue where to start looking for the remote sensor in the car. Any ideas anyone??!!

James

is this honda or aftermarket alarm?

does the lock/trunk/panic work?

my remote likes to spazz out sometimes... none of the buttons work for like ~15 seconds

you can try reporgramming the remote. do a search.

Ya, our stock remotes ('97) did that alot... another thing it likes to do is continue to attempt to lock the door, even if it's already locked, rather we're driving or not even in the car... "click, click, click, click, ...." sometimes 20 times in a row, 2 times a second... other times, it wont do it what so ever... I think you and I have fluke remotes... they use to work fine... maybe it's also just age...how old is yours?
