quick question for 7th geners
so i was about to buy an ipod today but i wanted to ask you owners of the 7th gen if there is any way to hook up your ipod to your stock stereo. like can i connect a cable from the stock stereo to the ipod. cuz those things they sell where you listen to your ipod through a radio station suck and the quality of music sucks. so if anyone can point me in the right direction it will be greatly appreciated.

OK, how about Remote CD changer AND MP3 (rca type) input Adapter in one ? Would like to get MP3 Alpine 6 disc CD changer and have EXT input option too.Ive seen some for 6th Gen, but not sure about 7th Gen . And yes pumping robot guy... I searched for it . And I agree with 04Accord.. Some sometimes repeats not all bad. "almost every subject that people continue to bring up has been at some time talked about...
In the case of these aftermarket adapters , it seems to take many months or years for them to work out the new systems and last month or years post can be "old school" info
The Robot thing is cool ....Is that u?

Your answer
I searched for WEEKS to find one for my 2005 Honda Accord EX 6-Speed and I was able to find the only one that worked at www.mp3yourcar.com. If you have XM, you will have to unplug it (as it uses your auxillery stereo port). I believe the product is called the Neo ION SP. It interfaces directly with your stereo, allows you to change MP3 tracks on your steering wheel controls or radio controls or iPod interface. (This was a big deal to me because I had 40gb of music and the only efficient way to browse it was through the iPod interface).

Oh, and the NEO ION SP is a better solution than the Soundgate SNHOND3 because the NEO connects to your iPod through the dock connection, which is superior because the audio output is line-leveled, while the SNHOND3 uses the output from the microphone jack. Also, another big benefit to me was that the NEO powers you iPod through the dock connection at the same time you are playing music.
