I have a 91 Accord EX and looking at a 2001 accord EX. I am wondering how much higher the seating position is on the 6th gen accord compaired to the 4th gen.

Can I ask why is the seat position important ? But to answer the question the 6th gen EX model has a switch to raise and lower the seat if that helps.

 

I have a relative that has a hard time getting out of the seats because they are so low. Just wondering how the 6th gen compaires.

 

Im 6'1 and i dont have any problems getting in or out of my car. My seat is almost lowered to the bottom and it doesnt bother me.

I would go to a car lot and just jump into an accord and test it.
If your like 6'7 then you might have a hard time.

If that fails look at an SUV which sits higher than an accord. ( Honda Pilot )

 

I have a 4th Generation and a 6th Generation Accord and I can tell you that it's much easier to get in/out of the 6th Generation. I like the fact that the 91 is lower than the 98, but it certainly makes it more difficult to get in/out of.
