Default specific keyless entry problem

i have searched the forum and did not find an answer to my problem so here goes.

i have a 98 accord with the dealer installed keyless. i have two key fobs and instruction manual. it has always worked flawlessly until now. the remote will only open the drivers door and will not lock any doors. lights and horn still fuction as before. also the door locks quit working at the same time. if you move either switch up or down you hear nothing, no relays, no nothing. when you toogle the remote you hear relays clicking but nothing moves. the only thing that works is the drivers door will unlock if locked with the remote.
any help?? thanks, mark

Sounds like you might have power lock actuators problems rather then
keyless. Does the main lock switch on the drivers door open all the
locks?

after doing a little research i have found that there was a recall on the multiplex control unit that controls the door locks and windows. its the master control panel in the drivers door. alldata was the source of this info.

another symptom of my car is that the right pass front and rear windows dont work from the master switch. i just discovered this today, they work fine from their own switch.
i think all of my symptoms are related.

the multiplex problem is on the EX since the Lx never came with factory keyless ,it was installed @ the dealer as a kit..if you hit the doorlock switch on the door and only some of them work then I would look into the doorlock motors as on the Lx all 4 doorlock motors are connected to the same pair of relays in the multiplexer unit on the back of the passenger side fusebox.

none of my door locks work by switch or key . the only thing that works is the remote will unlock drivers door only. it wont lock it again or unlock any other doors.
