Well to be honest none of the kits available for the Accord are truely DOT approved no. one, that may be something to concider for a daily driven car.

Most kits will run between $1995.00-3000.00. (not including the installation)

Drag Turbo kits and Turbonetiks(spelling?) kits (formally the F-max turbo kit) are likely the two better built kits for the 95LX Accord. You will need a kit for a f22 SOHC engine.

And, it's not a simply bolt on and go kit. On a scale from 1-10, this install will rank a solid 7+ not including the tuning and dyno time you may need to get the kit to run properly.

Just things to consider, also how healthy is your transmission and mileage on the car, again for a daily driver is something to look into again.

Unlike the Civic's and Integra kits, no one ever built a very good off the shelf Accord turbo kit for the F-series engine.

I say instead of wasting two grand on a turbo plus another 3 grand for installation and dyno testing and all that crap you should consider giving him an H22 engine, it will cost you around 1900 plus installation, besides it carries 200 horsepower I think thats a lot more if its a 95 LX V6 it has 30 horsepower more but if its a 4 cylinder your adding a total of 70 horsepower and thats a lot of gain. In my opinion

yes... but a turbo can add that horsepower plus buttloads more torque at the same time.

the torque is what you feel. turbo h22> turbo> H22

thanks, guys for all the help! It's a 144K mile on the clock f22b (SOHC non-VTEC). He want's to do the JDM DOHC front clip swap, but that's also expensive. He has plenty of friends that would help him install it and give him free dyno time, so that's no biggy, it's just finding one. We may have a custom manifold made and run a t60 with a piggy back fuel management controller. Thanks, again, for all the help!
