Took out transmission, where was it leaking?
Okay...I put my car back together after a timing belt incident, it runs great now...BUT, when I SHUT OFF THE CAR, IT LEAKS! Presumably motor oil. I assumed that the rear main seal was to blame. Therefore I took out the transmission. There is slight seepage at rear main seal, but nothing staggering. However, on the back of the torque converter there are numerous spray lines and the front tranny seal is clearly aged. Now this may explain why nit leaks only when the car is turned off; whereas the torque converter spins holding in fluid, then when it stops the fluid that settles on the input shaft leaks out. NOW, does anyone else have any other suggestions other than what I've mentioned? It definately looks and smells like motor oil and the dipstick was low, but what could cause it to leak only when it is just shut off? I can take pics of what I have if that helps.
Thanks a lot for looking and taking the time to read all of this.

Alright, My tranny is sitting on my garage floor...what should I do...any ideas of where the leak is coming from? I am sick of driving my supercharged t-bird getting 17MPG foregoing my 30MPG in my accord!
We can't really tell you from here, Aaron...when I changed my tranny I had to change the left halfshaft seal twice because I put it in wrong the first time and dinged it the second time and fluid was leaking out when I drove it. What a pain in the ass that was.
