Default Door lock keeps locking

Help me out guys
I search the forum but couldnt find anything...

my power lock keeps locking after I lock it...manually or by alarm.
honda dealer charge 40 just to check it.

I know several ppl have this here

what's the cause?
how much will it cost to fix it ?
any bad effects...except annoying...like if it's gonna unlock by itself?

thx guys

my roomates 96 v6 ex had the same problem. it never unlocked by itself... we just assumed the car was haunted b/c he was the second owner. what kind of alarm do u have? he had a g3 clifford (arrow 2). he assumed it had something to do with the alarm install

if its the factory alarm there is a control culster unde rthe drivers seat you have to switch it to manually lock. i switched mine to auto lock. if i unlock the car but don;t open the door the car locks its self in a min

You may need a diode to prevent ground from feeding back through to the factory system. Most Honda's are 2-wire, negative trigger. Do you have a fatory alarm?

try here,
i believe that it's not too hard to swap out the acuators. i have 94 2drs ex and it's not that hard to take the door panels off and swap 'em out.
