Default How in the world do I get these screws back in...

Those plastic screws that hold the bumper cover in place on my 02 Accord Coupe? I asked how to get them out in a previous topic but now these things don't want to go back in and stay in. I think I be having them in there nice and tight but I make one little tug and they fall back out...

can u tell I'm a novice?

if its the plastic push in fasteners, just pop out the center piece, push the housing in the bumper, then push the center back in.

if the bottom portion of that push-pin looking piece is opened up, close it so its straight like in the picture. when the head of the pin is pushed down, the bottom should pop open, allowing the pin to remain fastened. if it doesnt stay hooked to your bumper, take it out and try seeing if the bottom opens up when you push down on the top. if it dont, get a new one. :P

Remove the top portion, properly insert the Bottom(Fastener) and push in the top. Thats the way I do it.

Just buy new ones, I always break them when I take them off.

Most likely just need new ones. The little plastic arms on the back of the housing get stretched out and don't want to hold in their holes anymore.
