There's no way to achieve the 350 sound. It's becoming the trademark of the Nissan V6. All Nissans are starting to sound like this, from the Xterra to the Altima.

Could it be because they all have the same engine?

I know this, but up till last year, the Xterra was using a different block.

Only possible way might be to have the 2.7 V6 and not the 2.2 I-4 h:

Altima, Maxima, 350Z, G35, FX350, Murano, Xtarra = VQ35DE powered.
hmmm...
i wonder if they have anything in their mind to put out a VQ37DETT any time soon

I'm not at liberty to say, but I will tell you that the VQ35 is being phased out in the next couple of years in favor of an even juicier engine h:
