I had my car checked out and they tell me I need a new front transmission mount. How long can I go before I absolutely have to have this done? How much does the part cost and how many hours of labor should it take? Thanks!

 

tranny mount is on the right side not the front. the front is the dogbone shaped mount. you can go forever w/o replacing it but since the engine moves so much during shifting and revving that it could affect the amount of power you are putting on the ground and could possibly rip cv boots easier.
