My most current car (92 accord dx) has 188k on the dash..The car still runs as if it has 12k on it...But Im worried once it hits 200k it will start to act up..So I've decided to get an engine swap...My question is, is there a certain type of engine id have to purchase or can i purchase any type of engine and have it modified to fit inside my engine bay?? Also, when I purchase my new engine am i authorized to roll back my odometer or will it do so itself once the new engine is placed in or would an authorized Honda dealer have to do so?

most typical swap would be the h22a from the preludes. vtec and close to 200 hp. i too have a 92 and am thinking of engine and tranny swap. should be < $5k.
