Balance wheel When?
For 99 Accord 4 cyl, my milage is 51200. I never balanced my wheels as of today. I changed my tires 4 months ago. I see that people talk about balancing wheels and alignments and stuffs. So, my question is when should I go for balancing wheels? Is there any waringing signs I should look for? Does anyone know about this? please help. Thanks.
When they change the tires, most shops will balance the wheel after they mount the rubbers. Find the invoice from when you changed the tires and see if it says mounth and balance on it.
As Jani said, an unbalanced wheel would cause a vibration while driving fast (lets say 40+ mph)
Pulling left or right I think would be more closely related to the car needing an alignment rather than wheel balance. (unless it's pulling + vibrating) IMO

I only balance my tires when I feel some sort of vibration at higher speeds.
The less they are balanced, the less wear and tear on the alloy wheels from the tape weights, clip-on weights, wheel balancing machine, tire techie, etc. Steelies might be okay for more frequent balancing jobs though.

I just changed out my suspension and as part of the change I did a tire rotation. I did an alignment and adjusted the toe, no camber kit required, but I forgot to balance the tires. Getting that slight wobble at 70 or so..but my car handles nearly as nice as my EX wife's 530i, if not as nice. KYB GR-2 shocks, all new OEM bushings, nuts, bolts, pads, pillow mounts, Tein H spec springs. What a ride, I don't even bottom out! really
Just a quick update for this one. My new tire invoice says mount only not wheel balance. So, I think, I should go for wheel balancing since Ii have never done this before. I don't have any problem nor do I get any kind of vibrations speed over 40+.
