yesterday i went to circuitcity to check out some headunits. well, i primarily went there to check out a pioneer headunit and ended up attracted to this another alpine one. i wanna ask u guys' opinion and vote for either one.

etronics is a pretty cheap online audio place,anyways, pioneers are always pretty good, i love my aiwa cdc-mp3 player too!

all of my pioneer stuff sounds great. no complaints. i wouldn't buy their subs though. thats about the only thing.

 

aiwa looks aight... I'm pretty happy with my entire pioneer system... onlie thing missing is some subs, but I'm happy

 

it seems pioneer is the trendy thing... everyone here swears by their crap. Look around on eBay, you'll find their speakers being sold as another name for like $20... its kinda funny!

Their decks suck... all of them have 94db sn ratio... meaning their $100 deck uses the same laser and output system as their $500 decks... Oh yeah, some of their displays are kinda cool to look at, but you can get a Clarion or Kenwood that does the same and sounds a hell of a lot better.

Pioneer is crap... get over it. Alpine is not trendy... Its damn good equipment and it LASTS!

Crutchfield is like the best company Ive ever seen... they know what they are talking about, and give you all the help you want. Their prices are what they should be too... plus cheap shipping. They are the place to buy from unless you can get local deals.

 

not exactly. it's more of a matter of quality versus quantity. alpine being a quality product, and pioneer being a quantity product.
