i lowered my car about a month and a half ago and for some reason now i have a slight popping noise from my front end...it happens when i go from a dead stop and while turning on a bumpy road or surface...ne thoughts?
not really...my driveway isnt paved n while im backin into my driveway and turning i can hear it...its not loud though...i almost have to turn my radio all da way down to hear it
My GF had a similar problem with her RX300. It turned out to be some warn out bushings in the struts. whenever she hit a small bump or if the car suspension dipped down, it would knock on the top plate of the strut. i'm not sure whether that is the problem for your but it might be worth checking out.
Good luck dude.
yea, try tightening the top bolt that holds the strut assembly together. the camry would knock hella hard and when we blasted the two nuts down with an impact wrench, it was all good.
its not a loud clunking noise...its kinda like pluckin a rubber band only louder...n its only apparent at very low speeds...like when i take off from a dead stop...*shrugs*
