Carbon Fiber Hood Warping?
I just bought a used carbon fiber hood, and it seems to be warped or something. I installed it on my accord and there is a finger gap between the hood and the car. I'm guessing it wasn't used and off the car for awhile hence the warping, but i could be wrong. Is there anyway to fix it? I'm gonna install some hoodpins today and see if that helps. But if any of you have any other suggestions on how to flatten it out, that would be great. thanks.

try adjusting those rubber stops on the rad. support, as well as the latch. they determine how the hood sits along the front. most c/f hoods arent made to good standards, so they might need alot of adjusting to look decent

Yeah mine is like that too, but I left it like that since it's more toward my air filter..

whoa nice decision there, let more air get under the hood so it can flip up into the windshield.
um...do you think I don't have hood pins?? I'm not that stupid you know...:madfawk: As a matter of fact, I have the vented hood. Here we have snow and lots of rain. Plus it's not way way off that you can really tell... If you don't have anything nice to say, just buzz off back to Si forum...

I'll go look into it tomorrow. I got the hoodpins in today, they helped a bunch, but there's stil a gap. but at least now I'm not worried of it flying up and hittin my windshield :P.
