Default need honest opinions!!!

okay I"m sure everyone knows what guggan's car looks like. We all know its prob up there as one of the cleanest accords out. His car is everything that I want my car to be. Now I hate to say it but I think I might jock his style and try to get the same front as him if he doesn't mind that is :naughty: . Anyways I want to know what you guys would do in my situation. I have a black 97 accord and as I said I want to get the same front as guggan. I also have the opportunity to get a kaminari hood with carbon fier insert for free that is already painted because a close friend of mine said he would give it to me if I gave him my stock hood. We both have the same color car and he is selling his because he just left for college so he is returning it to stock. He already has everything pretty much gone and has a buyer for the hood but is willing to make an even swap with me for no extra charge. Do you think that hood would look right with that front or should I stick with stock??? Thanks in advance guys, you know I value your honest opinions even if they sometime are harsh:fawk: j/k!!!

eliteaccord-I might be confused but you know which front bumper I am talking about right? I am talking about that jdm front that guggan put on his car recently...After I decide about this hood and get a kit that I like I am gonna start saving up for h22 and then turbo!!
dantastic- I have my car lowered on coilover sleeves and have 18x8 racing hart m5s and koni yellows on order.
hey zidek-- I see how it is! Fine be that way but I don't need your help :-) j/k. Actually guggan is a real cool dude and I e-mailed him and he said that if I want he can get one ordered for me!

Carbon fiber hoods are actually pretty useful for weight reduction. But they're sort of dumb if you're car is only for show.

For instance, on the 6th generation Accord, a well made carbon fiber hood cuts down the weight from 90 pounds to 42 pounds.

hey zidek, I live in bucks county. It is a suburb of northeast philly. I am transferring to penn state's abington campus(which is the closest one to me) next semester.

hey acurafanatic, yeah I know carbon fiber hoods are great . I wanted to go with a full carbon fiber hood but a couple friends of mine that work in body shops say that carbon fiber hoods are not durable at all. My car is still my daily driver so one little chip in the hood and it will start to unweave and whatnot. So I went with the fiberglass version with carbon fiber insert so if I am even saving any weight at all it is prob like a pound or two:exnbp:

hey guggan, trust me if I had anything close to that money I would have filled you mail box with millions of letters for directions and I prob would already have driven down to where you live!!! :-). I guess I will just have to move at my own pace(very slow but steady :-( .) Hey guggan, since you were the one with the front that gave me the idea, do you think I should go with the kaminari hood with that front bumper or do you think the hood is too extreme for the front bumper??
hey dantastic, same question...you are saying go for the hood and the front bumper that guggan has??
I don't know what to do, I know its my car and all but I am just worried about the whole thing not flowing together. Sorry about being a pain in the ass everyone but thanks a lot so far for all the replies!!!!
