maybe the little bulb in ur gauge cluster is out, if not then maybe ur not low enough for the light to go on.

check your light bulb. The gas light works on temperature differences - when the sensor is no longer cooled by the gas, it sends a signal to the light causing it to come on. I guess the sensor could be bad but I doubt it. It's a pretty contained environment.

My guage has to be hitting "E" for my light to go on. Not sure how far you're waiting for it to go on. I've only seen mine come on once or twice before, normally put gas in before it completely hits "E"

Accord sending units are notorious for going out, look under neath the trunk carpet, you'll see the metal plate screwed down right behind the rear seat, they simply unplug from a 3 prong harness. It's a really easy fix, check eBay, It worked for me.

mine has never worked and I don't worry about it either. just use common sense and you won't run out of fuel. I wouldn't sweat the light not working.
