Default Those w/ 2002's - Any regrets?

I leased my 2002 last year and I don't regret it because I really needed it @ the time to replace my Civic that died, but w/ these 2003's coming out w/ 240 hp I'm thinking about trading mine in early, but haven't decided yet. I may just wait a lil bit to see if there are any problems, but anybody w/ a 2001 or 2002 thinking about doing the same thing?

I have a coupe and I planned on buying my car after the lease was up. Until I saw the 2003 that is. I would definitely get the coupe 6-speed if I went that route. The segan is -- ugh-looking and too family for me.

Yeah, too bad you copped the 2002. If you trade it in, you'll likely get penalized for early termination of the lease. But, you can try to either work out a deal with Honda or just sell it on your own. Also, even if you lease, you can still put a forced induction kit on your car. Just make sure you either keep the car, or get a used Honda and don't trade it in at a Honda Dealer. Make sense?

Dont trade up for a 2003. I think its pointless to trade up for the same exact car just because its faster. I personally like the 6th gen's much better and feel that if you already got it, why not keep it and enjoy it. Its so much nicer than the new ones and just more pleasing to me. The new ones looks cheap and RSX looking.

I am the complete opposite of you. I could care less about looks. All I care about is what's under the hood. Gen6 AV6's are slow. The Gen7's are MUCH better. And life is too short to waste time driving a car that doesn't make you happy

That said, if I still had my 01 AV6, I would have already been talking to my dealership about a trade a month or two ago.

i regret buying my 02 coupe but not because i think the 03 is any better. in retrospect i think i shouldve paid a couple thousand more and got a 325ci. it faster and it can out handle (even after the suspension mods) and out brake my car any day.

My friend THAT is a car! I wanted one too, but recently I've been thining about saving up more money and going all-out and getting the M3. It's everything you love about the 325 times 3!! If only the right lotto numbers would come in for me...
