I think it's the other way the TSX is an Accord :P My TSX buddies hate it when I point that out.....

"Amercian" Accords are too large for the European market. The roads are smaller, gas is more expensive, and people generally make less money on average. Despite the smaller size, for various reasons, the Accord is marketed there as more of a luxury sport sedan than a midsized family sedan.

wow sorry for asking a question about the accord in the accord section, seriously, there was no need next time ill just stick to posting in the prelude forum as the owners of preludes are less sketchy
(not insulting all of you nice guys that answered my question to the best of my knowledge, but there are many accord owners that both on the streets and in forums make you look bad as a group)

just gets me mad when i get unecessary attitude from ppl.

I answered your question and was a little annoyed that you didn't look around the forum first (especially since you're not a noob), as there was a thread 4 posts down from yours about a guy with...shock...a European Accord. Apparently I offended you with my post and I apologize for this. Not sure what the whole prelude v accord thing is about, but have fun with that.

Dear lord has this forum gone mad...
folks slamming 98Accordv6, I've even seen several post lately smacking down the Schmiddy, likely the mellowist dude ever on this forum.

Man 3 user ID's and 6 years later....maybe us long time posters should just up an leave......

Well, I really hope things work out for you in Germany with the Accord. The truth is, you appear to be on the right path, but it's hard to offer specifics since I don't really know the European specs all to well, some parts may even differe quite a bit from the US spec TSX, I'm not even sure that Europe gets the 5sd sport shift or ECU for it......My only advice would be don't put a big wing on, please.

If modding a European Accord I would mod it with the most European Honda parts I could find, then bring the car back to the states if you really turn out to like the car.....

I don't get it either :dunno: I've got people talking smack to me when I'm trying to help them...it's getting pretty discouraging when I'm (apparently) wasting 20 or so minutes a day posting up TSBs and stuff for people who don't have service manuals that they really should have anyway.
