92+ Accord Checkup
Howdy,
During the routine of maintenance of my 93 accord I found a issue some may know of and others may not. If you remove the battery and plastic battery 'holder' below, you will see some bolts (holding the plastic battery holder in place) and on the right side of this plastic piece a clamp is bolted to it. The clamp holds the + battery cable. Upon closer inspection you can see where your fat radiator hose is rubbing against this. Mine was worn down from rubbing. To fix this, you can simple rotate the rad. pipe "holder" so that contact doesn't occur there.
Best pic i could find of the spot I'm trying to describe should be attatched.
Brighter white ring in middle is the clamp I speak of, rubbing agains the fat black rad pipe.
Lighter circle to the right is the "holder" you can rotate 180. deg. to move it away slightly.
My appologies for any mistakes above. I'm no expert. Just trying to help.
