Please help! My Honda Accord 2000 V6 just got the SRS red light. I would appriciated if any one could help me.

Um that's a serious problem that disables the SRS system. Take it to the dealer for diagnosis.

 

My drunk ass SRS system started doing a similar thing...but first I got a yellow caution light, then the dreaded red light. The whole system stops working when that red light goes on (hum...get that MOMO steering wheel becomes an option). I took it to the dealer and they said for a couple of franklins they could "diagnose" the problem. So, I retreated, seeing that it didn't happen all the time.....I found out that my wife's fat ass shorted the SRS wiring on the passenger seat! When light weight was applied, the yellow, or nothing. However, when her fat ass was in it, yellow and sometimes red, which would linger. When nothing was on the seat....no problems.... Problem solved.
