Default 04 Accord 6 disc in dash Radio

So I am not a car person...let me start there. But I just took my car to the Honda dealer because I couldn't see anythig on the radio screen anymore, but it was still working (similar to other posts). Anyway, I am not about to spend $765 to replace it. Any suggestions on where else to get a factory replacement system? Can I buy a new non-factory radio from a store and install that instead? If so, will the steering wheel controls still work?

Did a warranty not come with your car?

Unless you've blown by 36,000 miles in under a year and a half, your car is still under warranty. If that dealer won't fix it (have no idea why they would charge you unless as I said you have far too many miles), take it to another Honda dealer, and get on the phone to American Honda customer service.

A TSB is a technical service bulletin. 200 miles doesn't mean shit, you can easily get your radio replaced. I got an O2 sensor replaced for free like 10k miles after my warranty expired. Be more persistent, call Honda customer service or go to another dealer.
