Can someone tell if I can remove the subframe and keep the drive train intact?

You mean drop the subframe with the engine and trainy on the subframe?

You likely could but you would need a lift and likely some prior experience. I would rate this a 10 on the skills meter.

And if you have to ask I assume you don't have the helm service manual do you?

It would be quite the job and require the disconnection of many-many wires and maybe the AC system. And certainly the axles.

May I ask, why?

You sure can ask, I am going to use the assembly for a trike, the car was given to me and has no title. What I think I will do is saw it just behind the fire wall and then pick it apart. I need to keep it in one piece so I can build the frame.
