Default 91 Honda Accord

I have a 91 Honda Accord DX, that for some reason will not start after it sits in the sun. I was told it might be the main engine relay. Any suggestions on how to repair or replace this part and the exact location of this part?

We really need a basic FAQ in this forum, not to drive away posters but to help people...I'll look into it. Thanks.

Is this a easy fix? Do I have to purchase this part from Honda or is there a after market part? I am in Orlando and need to get this car running. Would it make the car seem as if it needs a fuel pump?

yes to your ?s.. its easy to fix, u can get it aftermarket, and it can make it seem fuel pump related it tells the pump to prime.. the contacts get loose.. go to search enter 'main fuel relay' click, a pg will come up several choices go to thread titled 'replace main fuel relay in 1990 honda accord', by hasani, dated 6/9/05.. i have a discription and answer in the center of the post.. its a little tricky getting it out because its up in the dash driver's side but its very easy to replace.. i got mine at the dealer..

How much do they cost? It seems like we get a post every week from a guy with this problem on his 4th gen.

i replaced my main relay in 2003 dealer part 64.53.

C98, my honda is just now needing some original parts replaced, so i have 2005 parts and prices of items i recently replaced that everyone asks about..this is for a 92 accord.. online majestic honda..O2 sensor 161.75 includes the oring, local honda dealer..ignition coil external 92.80, vss 121.37, rotor, cap 34.84, wires +coil wire 96.97 tx included..

most can be aftermarket and cost alot less but that will give people the oem dealer price.. majestichonda online is cheaper on alot of things even with the $4.95 fee, they just take a long time this year to fill their orders. majestic has the parts diagrams and alot of nit picky trim stuff too that i had to get after my car was painted. fasteners, clips, rubber moldings lenses..
