Default Accord 98 LX with Carbon Fiber Hood Stupid?

Hi Guys,
My cousin makes custom Carbon Fiber Hood. He can do hoods for any cars, as long as he has an oem hood to make a carbon fiber copy. My car is dark emeral green and he insisted that I should install carbon fiber hood. I got it for free of course.

My question to you is, would it look stupid on my accord? Because I haven't lowered the car, and haven bought rims yet. I'm asking because once I installed the carbon fiber hood, I cant go back to the original factory hood, my cousin will take that from me, it's more like a trade. Any comments would help.
This hood is very light, about 20lbs or less and you can stand on it without breaking it. It's a direct fit. It sounds sweet but i'm very skeptical about the looks.

well if you eventually plan on lowering your accord and putting some rims on, do it up.

It's not our car, it's your car, if you like it do it. Personally I think they look dumb, but if you like it go for it. Better than altezzas and aluminum wings...at least CF hoods are slightly functional and moderately cool. On green it might look good.

Yeah I think it's look straight. I've never seen one in that green with a CF hood, so yes. You should do it.... that's my $0.02.

I wouldn't do it on my 4 door, but consider it if I had a coupe.
But like some else said, its your car do what you want.

I wish my car was a white civic or integra, I'll just put it on to see what it looks like, take some pictures, and see if it looks alright
Thanks for all your feedback, I appreciate it

i have one on my 94 accord sedan with smoked lights everywhere but the hadlights and black rims, it looks sweet, but there are a few haters out there, mostly my fam who dont get the point of one, i personally like them, it keeps my engine compartment much cooler too, only due to the vents of course
