Default bumper change

does anyone know how to remove the rear bumper of a 2005 Honda accord 4DR, any help is appreciated. for example how many bolts are there, where are they, or if someone can point me in the direction of a step by step thread.

Thanks

there will be a ton of clips you'll need to remove. under your front fenders, straight up from your wheel (think 12 o'clock) you'll start to see these little tap-in screws. you dont need to remove any of those that go towards the back of your car, only towards the front. use a flathead screwdriver to wedge under the screw head where theres a little space, then twist slightly to have the screw popup a bit. then use your tiger grip to pull it out. there should be 2 (or 3) under each side.

next, continue along the bottom of your front bumper. there should be similar looking screw/clips lining the outer portion. i think 6 in total. there are also 2 that you'll need a philips screwdriver for (if i remember correctly) towards the right and left sides of the bumper.

once those are removed, open your hood and there should be more clips/screws. be careful not to take out all of them, b/c some dont have anything to do w/ the bumper.

you'll need to remove this metal piece called the bumper weight (i think) that you need to unbolt/screw from underneath the license plate. that metal piece secures your bumper from falling off, so you'll definitely need to get rid of that.

after youve removed all the clips, just pull it out one side at a time. the bumper as a whole should be fastened on to your front end, so dont be afraid to use some force. or, to be extra careful, use the flathead screwdriver to pry it loose a bit from 2 points where its clipped to.

i think thats it. im at work right now, but if you still have questions, PM or ask again and i might be able to post up pics for you if you need.
