This is a video explaining SH-AWD, but they implemented the SH-AWD system into an Accord. AMAZING!

You are aware that the RL drives a lot like you would expect an AWD Accord to drive, right? Mainly because deep down inside....

yeah, but the RL is like what $50,000? you can get 2 Accords for that price. I'm just saying that it would be awesome if the US would get a SHAWD Accord and at a more affordable price.

And this is over a year old. The Accord here is the Inspire there, their equivalent of a TL. The Accord, TL and RL all share basically the same chassis, so parts are interchangeable.

they show plenty of an accord/inspire running around a track in that SH-AWD video, but that doesn't mean they actually made an accord with SH-AWD - even a prototype. the video is just for demonstration purposes, to explain the technology.

i think they may eventually create an AWD accord - but it'll be in some version of the JDM/Euro accord. it may make it into the TSX as well, but the regular USDM honda accord will probably never have it.

still, pretty cool video Even though it wouldnt make sence financially to bring it here to the states, it shows that we will see more of this system all over the Acura line in time to come..
