Default 2003 Accord Dead Transmission

The damn transmission on my '03 ex V6 accord crapped out. It was giving me problems over the past few months and the dealer couldn't recreate the problem until now. They are putting in a remanufactured tranny. I only had 23000 miles on it. I kinda lost faith in the car itself. Its unfortunate because I love it. It's too bad that I now have to sell/trade it in. I'll be getting the new 2006 BMW 330i

That last post was irrelevant; I feel your pain, man......my tranny on my sixth gen V6 1999 is going and is practically gone, and Im awaiting a refurbished replacement for it; I didnt know the 2003s were experiecing problems too.....

Wow, jumping to the 330i beemer from the Accord? You must have crazy duckets lying around; thats the sedan, not the coupe, right? The 330Ci is the coupe I believe......good luck with it, bro!

Beemers are BMW motorcycles, Bimmers are BMW cars.

I think it's ridiculous to sit around and bitch about things that are fixed under warranty (and at that, a 100,000 mile warranty on the tranny). Because of the imperfections of mass production, there will never be a car line that is 100% problem free off the line. That's the purpose of a warranty.

"Beemers are BMW motorcycles, Bimmers are BMW cars."

Yeah, but its SAID the same way in person......

Hes not bitching it about nor sitting around; in fact, I BET he's at the BMW dealer RIGHT NOW making a deal....he simply was sharing the fact on an open public forum that his tranny crapped out at that mileage which just shouldnt happen on a Honda THAT NEW, warranty or mass market produced or not.

That 03 is a pretty new vehicle to be having a bad transmission pop up, Im sorry......he could have bought a Ford if he wanted that kind of headache; I dont blame him for being a bit pissed off.

You will not hear anyone who knows anything about BMWs call them 'beemers'. It is pronounced 'bimmer', just as it is spelled.

I don't really care what he's doing right now, I was stating my opinion; the opion of someone who works in the automotive industry. Lay off please, dissention is not needed all the time when I post.

LMFAO.....that is SO FAR off from the truth that its funny.....EVERYONE calls them beemers....

"I don't really care what he's doing right now, I was stating my opinion"

THATS the problem.....that you DONT CARE....you proved my point FOR me, thank you. He has EVERY RIGHT to come in here and bitch about that transmission because its an OPEN PUBLIC HONDA FORUM. EVERY RIGHT. And we have every right to listen and be concerned and tell him its absolute horse-****it that his tranny went that early.

"the opion of someone who works in the automotive industry."

Blah blah blah......

Yeah, the way YOU always so expertly do when I notice EVERY ONE OF YOUR POSTS giving someone some kind of sarcastic response when YOU feel their comments are not up to your standards of knowledge?

Give me a break, bro......

You're an angry person. No more helping you. Have you seen my massive TSB/tech info thread? I guess I'm just a dick though.

Arguing with you is like arguing with a little kid who always thinks he's right. I'm not bothering anymore.

"You're an angry person."

Nope. Not true. Just defending myself as I guess I have no right to, but YOU and everyone else does. NOW it makes sense to me.....

"No more helping you."

If the measure of your "help" is based on the resolve of the comments you make to people in here, most notable me, I'll take that as a compliment and a blessing in disguise.

"I guess I'm just a dick though."

I dont know......are you? And whos using the language now?

"Arguing with you is like arguing with a little kid who always thinks he's right. I'm not bothering anymore."

LMFAO......

It interesting, is there any crapped out BMW transmissions under warranty?
I agree with 98CoupeV6 about mass production and sure there are broken transmissions among BMW.
