Default Cost for exhaust leak?

I am looking at a 98 v6 accord ex coupe with 89k miles. Has not been to the mechanic yet but the guy to me he knows it has a exhaust leak. What is the cheapest and most expensive it can cost. Thanks, Matt

If the person selling it is the original owner you should have him replace the exhaust. Isn't the exhaust covered under warranty for the Original owner? I may be wrong, but I thought I read this somewhere.

Completely depends on what it is. Did the catalytic converter get stolen or did a gasket spring a leak?

This is why places give free estimates Go on a test drive to a repair shop, haha.
